From NC NAACP:

NAACP North Carolina Calls for Full Investigation
into the Death of Javion Magee
HENDERSON, NC - NAACP North Carolina expresses deep concern and calls for a thorough and transparent investigation following the tragic death of Javion Magee, 21, from Illinois, who was reportedly found deceased beneath a tree on Vanco Mill Road near Henderson, NC, on September 11. Magee, a delivery truck driver, was reportedly discovered with a rope around his neck in what appears to be a highly suspicious incident.

NAACP North Carolina President Deborah Dicks Maxwell, issued the following statement:
“The death of Javion Magee is a heartbreaking event that requires the utmost attention from all levels of law enforcement. We demand a comprehensive and transparent investigation to uncover the truth behind this tragedy. As a community, we cannot rest until we have clear answers. The NAACP will stand with the Magee family and will continue to push for justice in this matter, ensuring that every aspect of this case is investigated with the seriousness it deserves.”
NAACP North Carolina stands in solidarity with the Magee family in their demand for clarity and justice. We urge authorities to explore all possible avenues and ensure a fair and transparent investigation. "This case warrants the full attention of local, state, and federal agencies to ensure the truth is uncovered," said Da’Quan Marcell Love, NAACP North Carolina Executive Director.

NAACP North Carolina will continue to monitor this case closely, push for transparency and accountability and offer support to the family as they seek justice. We call upon anyone with relevant information to come forward and assist law enforcement in their investigation.
