The Haywood County Public Library is seeking your input for our 2027-2032 Strategic Plan!

Involving the Haywood County community and engaging with local stakeholders in planning efforts is a key part of a strategic planning process. The library community includes current users and potential users, the underserved, county residents and nonresident cardholders, staff, county administrators, the Board of Commissioners, support organizations, and local business owners.

Completing the online digital survey helps us identify areas of potential and future growth for our libraries. Data will be collected and utilized to define three to five high level strategic goals and to develop objectives and activities for each goal. Public input gathered through the online digital survey for Strategic Plan 2027-2032 will inform library staff, Trustees, and Haywood County administration about community needs, particularly from the unserved or underserved in the community.

The survey is available online at https://tinyurl.com/2pw2wdp6. Physical copies of the survey can be picked up and returned at any of the four Haywood County Public Library branches. Survey submissions must be completed by September 30, 2026.
