New Water Safety Lessons Now Available at Smoky Mountain Aquatics Club – Waynesville, NC

SMAC understands that before we can build great athletes, we must first develop safe swimmers — because every champion starts with strong water‑safety fundamentals. Keeping our community safe in and around the water isn’t optional — it’s essential. That’s why Smoky Mountain Aquatics Club is launching new water safety lessons designed to build confidence, teach lifesaving skills, and help prevent avoidable tragedies. These new lessons are built for all comfort levels — from first‑time swimmers to kids who need stronger safety skills before summer.

SMAC swimmers enjoyed a beautiful day outside with awesome food and friends! Coach Dan entertained us with his paper plate awards, but also recognized some very special swimmers who have demonstrated hard work and SMAC mentality all season long. Way to go swimmers! We love recognizing you and hanging out with you!

SMAC is excited to introduce our new program, the Smoky Mountain Aqua Academy! The Aqua Academy teaches young children the essentials of water safety education.

We are beginning with a first round of classes on May 2, 2026 and going through May 30, 2026!
