We are saddened by the passing of Susan Saint James, beloved actress, longtime Connecticut resident, and devoted advocate for Special Olympics Connecticut.

We had the honor of welcoming Susan to the Business Women’s Forum twice. In 2011, she joined us alongside Special Olympics champion and fellow speaker Loretta Claiborne, pictured with her here, for our theme, “Power, Passion, Purpose.”

From her role on Kate & Allie to her dedication to inclusion, Susan embodied those words. We are grateful she shared her voice and heart with our BWF community.

Our thoughts are with her family, friends, and the many lives she touched. 🤍 Special Olympics Connecticut
