There's something special about opening a donation box.

We never know what's inside, but we know it has the potential to meet someone's need, restore dignity, and remind them they're not alone.

Thank you for making moments like these possible.

We appreciate new and lightly used clothing, houseware and furniture donations

This is what it's all about. ❤️

A director with a vision, a board that believes, volunteers who show up, a community that gives, and kids whose lives are changed because of it.

It takes all of us to make moments like this possible.

Your fall closet clean-out could help someone else get ready for the season. 🍂🧥

As temperatures start dropping, we’re looking ahead to the items our neighbors will need most for fall and winter.

Think warm layers, sweaters, coats, boots and other cold-weather essentials, clean, gently used and ready to wear. Your donation can help someone stay warm this season!

Every act of generosity makes a difference—and sometimes, it can make twice the difference.

If your employer participates in United Way, you may be able to direct your workplace contributions to Acts 4 Ministry. Many companies also match charitable donations or offer grants for volunteer service.

Ask your Human Resources department or local United Way office how you can maximize your impact. Explore the opportunities at: https://acts4.org/acts4-donate/planned-giving/

We love your donations. We just need your BEST donations!

Before putting something in the donation pile, take one more look. Is it clean? Is it in good condition? Is it something you’d happily give to a friend or family member?

The people who come through our doors deserve quality, dignity and the opportunity to choose items they can feel good wearing. Give what you’d want to receive.

As the temperatures begin to drop, the need for warm clothing begins to rise. 🍂❤️

We're currently collecting gently used and new winter clothing to help keep individuals and families in our community warm this season.

If you have coats, jackets, sweaters, hats, gloves, scarves, or other winter essentials you no longer need, consider donating them to Acts 4 Ministry. Together, we can make sure no one has to face the cold alone.

We appreciate new and lightly used clothing, houseware and furniture donations

Acts 4 Ministry is incredibly grateful to the Connecticut Community Foundation for supporting our work through a Strengthening Nonprofits Grant, helping us invest in our social media and marketing efforts so we can continue reaching the people who need us most.

And the opportunity doesn’t stop with us! Patrick from CCF stopped by to share a little about their work and an important message for other local nonprofits looking ahead to 2027. 👏

2027 grant opportunities open in January, and their team wants to hear from you!

A home isn't just filled with furniture, it's filled with comfort, dignity, and belonging. ❤️

That's why we take the time to measure doorways, windows, and each space before helping you choose what will make your house feel like home.

Yes. Your donation really does make a difference.
