MEETING MONDAY MARCH 9th: A note from our own magical Marie Padilla....

Hi Everyone,
Please note that due to the inclement weather we have combined both the SAM and the SYM together for this next meeting. We will be meeting Monday March 9th at 6:00 p.m. We will meet at the Waterbury Firehouse 1551 Thomaston Avenue, Waterbury, CT 06704. Please bring one of your favorite magic effects to share with everyone.

Also a reminder that our Spring Auction will be taking place March 23, 2026. If you have any magic that you are no longer using bring it to our auction and sell it. The auction is always a fun evening.

GRATITUDE goes out to the Waterbury Arts & Tourism Commission for its gracious award of $400 towards Waterbury Harry Potter Day activities in 2026! We are off to a magical start! Please let us know of others who might become supporters and sponsors. We typically need $1,000 - 1,500 each year to provide honorariums to local performers, a fee for a headlining act, and various supplies.

BACK TO (MAGIC) SCHOOL! New and old magic students assembled with members of SAM 29 on Monday the 8th of September for our first post-summer SYM meeting. Tony "Magic Man" Feliciano began the evening by teaching a splendid yet simple method for making a rainbow streamer appear and vanish. Waterbury's young magicians typically meet at 6:00 pm on the 2nd Monday of each month during the school year. This club is open to youth ages 7-17 accompanied by an adult guardian. Join us! MAGIC SCHOOL IS BACK IN SESSION! Monthly magic classes for kids resume this coming Monday September 8th at the Waterbury Firehouse 1551 Thomaston Avenue, Waterbury, CT 06704 at 6:00 pm. If you have any friends that are interested in magic please have them come and join our group. All members should be at an age from 7-16 years old. Parent or guardian must remain with their child or children.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone Monday evening!
