It’s quite a feeling when you’re in REI and your pack and your Scoutmaster’s pack are on the wall in a vintage display. I still use my dark maroon Jansport and Bones used his red Kelty for decades.

Another glimpse into a Monday night Scout meeting at Troop 3. We are blessed to have 8 adult Eagle Scouts leading the Troop. We have at least 5 Vigil members of the Order of the Arrow. We have some Camp Mattatuck staff members. We have 2 Woodbadge trained leaders. We have a rock solid staff. We need youth. Please spread the word. Our program helps families raise young men with values. In today’s world we need what Scouting offers. We welcome new families to join our Scouting family.

Just a Monday Night Troop meeting. These meetings add value. In one photo the Scouts are learning first aid. In the picture where they are seated they are listening to a police officer discuss the dangers of drugs and alcohol. This session on drugs and alcohol is a handbook requirement that they need to pass.
