💥Community Impact Update:

"Here in Tok one of the most common forms of transportation is a four-wheeler or a snow machine. At Head Start we’re advocates for safe riding on any mode of transportation. When I noticed families riding to school on four wheelers and snow machines without helmets, I felt the need to help the people of our community get access to the gear to ride safely. Especially after an uptick in accidents around the town. Then I remembered Helmets on Heads. They’d provided helmets to the kids of our school nearly 10 years ago; I was one of them. So, I reached out to Teagen, hoping to partner with Helmets on Heads. She was extremely helpful and flexible in working with me to get the helmets transported to our town and worked to teach me proper sizing.

Our site is extremely grateful for the helmets that have been provided to us, allowing us to make our community a safer place for families. We also hope to continue being able to work with the organization in future years." - Trinity James

Training will occur on Frostbite Ridge and in the Mid-Mountain zone. Travel on Frostbite Ridge and within Skeetawk’s Mid-Mountain operational boundary is highly discouraged these days. Skeetawk’s parking lot gate will remain locked, and guards will be in place to prevent travel up Frostbite Ridge. Please visit https://www.Skeetawk.com/snow-report for current avalanche mitigation status.
