HRT K9 Harts' Recovery Team is a nonprofit providing service dogs to Veterans free of charge. Recovery is something that is very important to our family.

Justin is in recovery from PTSD. Being paired with his service dog Lexie changed his life and our family. Providing the same opportunity to other veterans walking that same path is part of maintaining his recovery. We believe that creating a team of one human and one rescue dog walking the road of recovery together offers both the dog and the veteran a better chance of success. It also invites them in to a community of recovery minded people doing life together.

We are happy to announce that Jessie has been adopted and James is in the process of introductions! Nora is still looking for her furever family. If you know someone looking for a companion that wants to keep an eye on her people and make sure they're okay, but also enjoys a good romp, Nora could be their new best friend!

Nora is good with cats and children, but will need to be an only dog.

The days are getting shorter, the nights are getting colder and this time of year can be lonely. Don't worry, HRT has you covered! Come see us this Saturday, 9/12, from 1-3 at for some social time, and maybe meet your new best friend! We still have dogs available for adoption. Come meet them in person and maybe take one home. ❤️

We have three service program washout available for adoption! (See posts below) All dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate/kennel trained as well as trained in basic obedience.
