The friends of Twindly monthly meeting is postponed a week. Our next meeting will take place on September 22nd at 5PM.

The Friends of Twindly monthly meetings will resume in August 2022. The current meeting schedule is the 3rd Thursday of the month at Twindly Bridge Charter School. Meetings start at 5PM and generally conclude by 6:30PM. All are welcome to attend.

A big THANK YOU to the Valley Board of Realtors for the generous donation!

These funds will be used to purchase materials to build a greenhouse. The greenhouse will be built by volunteers and student workers. Profits from the sale of that greenhouse will be reinvested in more materials to build more structures. These funds will continue to be reinvested, creating more work opportunities for our students and becoming an annual fundraising opportunity.

The Friends of Twindly nonprofit organization was established to support Twindly Bridge Charter School, it's parents, students, APC, and staff in the accomplishment of their goals related to student learning, school participation, and community involvement. As a new organization, established in August 2021, Friends of Twindly is registered with the State of Alaska as a non-profit and as of April 2022, is recognized as a 501c3. Their initial accomplishments include helping to keep the TB Coffee Shop as an operating business and managing the lunch time snack cart for students.

Partial road closure:

Lucille Street, Seldon Road, and the roundabout will have a intermittent lane road closure and shoulder work for luminaire repair and maintenance for February 7th thru May 30th, 7 am till 7 pm daily, or until job completion.
