Wasilla Youth Baseball

WYB is a non-profit, volunteer driven baseball organization dedicated to the development and well-bei There are no regular season games played on the weekends.

We are a non-profit, volunteer driven baseball organization dedicated to the development and well-being of kids ages 4-15. We promote the game of baseball, advocate good sportsmanship, and respect for everyone around us. We provide a safe place to enjoy the game of baseball
The season runs from early May – through mid July. All of our regular season games are held at Smith Fields on Knik Goose B

ay Road. The fields are located just south of the Subway on the west side of the Road. Register online at www.wasillayouthbaseball.com or email [email protected]. Please come and join us for a great and fun filled season of competitive baseball.

Now that the season is wrapped- some much needed fencing repairs are currently under way at the fields.

We want to thank all our t-ball players and their coaches for another great season! Friday marked their last day of games! I hope you all had fun!

Thank you Kendall Ford Of Wasilla for your continued sponsorship. Our little players were proud to represent you.

Next week begins tournament week for all other divisions. Come on out to the fields and cheer on all the players as they head into the final three games of the season! Single elimination with a double header begins Monday night!

Happy 4th of July WYB!!

Thank you to all the players, coaches, and parents who came and walked with us today. We had a great turnout and fun was had by all.

Shout out and BIG thanks to Garrett Bishop and family who built the dugouts and has graciously donated them to WYB so that we can continue to have them for future parades!

Our baseball community is amazing and we can’t wait for next years parade.

⚾️⚾️ Thank you WYB community! ⚾️⚾️

🎉We made out goal for the float! 🎉 Thank you to everyone for your donations, we can't wait to get these baseballs displayed with your players name and number on the truck as well as on the float.

Here are some last minute things to remember IF you are planning to attend and walk in the parade. This is open to all players/coaches in ALL divisions.

📍Location: Parade walkers, please use the Wasilla Middle School parking lot to cross Bogard at the crosswalk to Wasilla High School to meet with the group. Do NOT drop off at Wasilla High School.

⏱️Time: All parade walkers must be at our float location behind Wasilla High School no later than 10:30 am. Tball players will be allowed to sit on the float, older players will walk.

🍭Candy: WYB will be providing candy to our parade walkers. Parade walkers are NOT permitted to throw anything to spectators. Please go over this with your player(s). Parade walkers may bring a small bag to carry their candy to hand out to spectators.

🧢Attire: Show off your WYB team pride. Wear your team jerseys and hats! Be sure to also wear comfortable walking shoes. The parade route is approximately 1.85 miles start to finish, baseball shoes NOT encouraged. Bring a glove, bring a bat, bring your WYB baseball spirit!

Our 4th of July float is looking AMAZING! Lots of time has been spent putting this together and we need your help!

From now until the end of the month, we are taking donations to help complete the float. Please see the flier below.

We are excited to have our players walk/ride on the float with us.
