Shoutout to a standout cow run.

While the overall placings are determined by the combined reining and cow work scores, we wanted to recognize the rider who earned the highest cow work score in the Non Pro Boxing at the Black Gold Classic.

Sometimes the final standings don't tell the whole story, and a great cow run deserves to be celebrated.

Congratulations

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and supported the ARCHA Black Gold Classic today. Also, thanks for your patience with our computer system!

We had over 20 entries in the cutting classes, and it was fantastic to see so many Alaskans stepping into the pen and showing their cow horse skills.

From first-time exhibitors to seasoned competitors, the day was filled with great rides, good cattle, and plenty of fun.

Here are a few snapshots from today's action. We can't wait to do it all again tomorrow.
