The team trudged through deep sugary Snow last night and again had several trees jump out in front of them. In this tracking pic from the trail between Kaltag and Unalakleet, the team had an average speed of 12 mph. The pro teams, ( #5) who passed them had an average of 42 mph. Average speeds are calculated between GPS points. Crazy how fast the pro teams go.
