Still in awe over our Explorer Enrichment Showcase 🥹💜

Throughout the school year, explorers have been working before and after-school in programs of their choice with the goal of completing a final project.

From wellness and photography to book writing and product making, each explorer learned the ins and outs of various career fields and what it takes to be successful in these industries.

One of the highlights was each explorer was able to sell their work to the guests (yes they got to keep their proceeds!), with a final portrait being auctioned for $225!

Thank you to our Before + After School Enrichment Coordinator for organizing this beautiful showcase; our phenomenal program leaders ; our caters Chef Eric and Suzette Johnson for the delicious spread; and our HAB families and partners for their support.

Can’t wait to see more of the work displayed by our dedicated explorers 💜.

We invite rising 6TH and 7TH graders residing in Norfolk, VA to enter the 2026-2027 YELLOWHAB lottery. You may find more information at apply at teamyellow.org/yellowhab.

The lottery opens Monday, April 20 at 12:00PM|ET and will close Sunday, May 3rd at 11:59PM|ET. Participants selected for a slot at will be notified on Monday, May 4th after the lottery is run at 12:00PM|ET.

This post gives you all the details of the proposed constitutional amendment and what your YES or NO vote means. Voting is open to ALL registered voters in Virginia.
