Hearing creative thoughts about space, niche events, and helpful resources to engaging and involving young people in unique programming and regional activities is helping us think bigger and broader about our organization’s local and national impact. 💭

We are proud to partner with Big Picture Learning for an important intergenerational Bright Sparks conversation about the intersection of education and democracy. 🗳️

Our panelists include Bestselling Author, Social Change + Political Streatgist, and Cultural Commentator Alencia Johnson; President of Paul Quinn, Dr. michaelsorrell; President of Fund for the City of New York, Dr. Lisette Nieves; and recent FLHFHS graduate, Miranda Acosta.

Together, we’ll examine the role of education, technology, and collective action in sharing a more inclusive democratic future at a time when our country feels increasingly polarized.
