Responsible Smokers Act Ashtrays From Cigarette Butts We educate and facilitate the upcycling of collected cigarette litter by making ashtrays from cigarette butts.

Cigarette butts are litter and animals do swallow them. Please don't leave them behind and if you know someone who does please spread the word that cigarette butts should never be thrown into the the natural environment. That includes throwing them out of a car window. Eventually the butts will be washed into a storm drain and they will be carried to a water source like rivers, lakes, and the ocean.

Cigarette butts are litter too! This was made with littered ci******es found on the beach. Approximately 4.3 trillion butts are littered worldwide annually. Please dispose of these properly.

You see the litter but do you know how long it will last out in nature? Here is a quick list. It's an awful lot of years for an awful lot of litter.
