First Place goes to Susan Birger with her quilt 'Water Lilies'! Susan hand appliqued this beautiful quilt in honour of her friend, Ron Reinhard, who passed away from ALS in 2025.

Second Place goes to Barbara Hutton and her 'Amish with a Twist' quilt! Barbara has been donating her stunning quilts to our organization for over 5 years now with the intention of helping our pALS and raising awareness!

Third Place goes to Peggi Loveless with her 'Honey in the Stars' quilt! This is only her second quilt donated to us, which she chose to donate in honour of her friend's daughter who passed from ALS.

Each winner will receive a box of assorted prizes and goodies thanks to our incredible sponsors! It’s because of our sponsors that we’re able to continue our challenge each year, and we are so grateful for their support.

We are so happy to finally announce the winners for our challenge! Congratulations to our winners, and thank you so much to everyone who participated in our 2025-2026 Hopes & Dreams Quilt Challenge for ALS! We received a grand total of 1,004 quilts this year, which means that 1,004 people living with ALS were given the gift of a handmade quilt and brought warmth and comfort to aid them in their battle against this devastating disease. We are so, so grateful to all of our amazing quilters for lending their time and effort to support our cause♥
