The Ventura Ronald McDonald Family Room offers resources and care to help strengthen families during difficult times.

We work with Ventura County Medical Center to enable family-centered care for children with medical conditions. When a child needs medical care, families belong at the heart of that care. Ronald McDonald House® Family Room: Ventura County Medical Center, a core program of Ronald McDonald House Southern California, provides families a place to rest and recharge just steps from their child’s room, along with meals, everyday resources and spaces to care for themselves throughout long days at the hospital.

Happy Halloween from the Ronald McDonald House Family Room: Ventura County Medical Center! 🎃

We were joined by Ventura County Fire Department, Oxnard Fire Dept. and Ventura Fire Department Departments and they brought some Halloween magic to our families and patients at VCMC! 🚒

Batman and Superman rappelled down onto the Pediatric Playground and greeted our kiddos and put a smile on everyone’s faces! 💛

Thank you to all for brightening up our families’ Halloween season! ✨

In 2025, our pantry welcomed 1,118 visits, each representing a family finding nourishment, comfort, and care while staying close to their hospitalized child. 💛

Every day, we provide families with more than just food and drinks—we offer comfort, care, and a small sense of normalcy during some of their most difficult moments. 🫶

Right now, individually packaged pantry items are our biggest need. With your support, we can keep our pantry stocked and continue serving families at Ventura County Medical Center.

We brought our new brand to life at Ronald McDonald House® Family Room: Ventura County Medical Center with a Hospitality Cart visit to our families, patients, and VCMC staff! Our Valiant Volunteers visited each patient room with goodies to spread joy and celebrate our new brand! ✨🩵

It was a day filled with plenty of heart and lots of excitement for this next chapter of our story! ❤️
