🎨 NEW TO ART COMPETITIONS? LET’S TALK!
We know this is a last-minute announcement, and we apologize for that! But this Sunday at Buenaventura Art Association, we’re having a conversation that’s too important not to share. ❤️
THAT’S A FIRST: A Juried Competition for New Competitors is all about helping artists take that next step with confidence. From selecting and photographing your work to pricing, framing, entering a show, and navigating the excitement (and sometimes the disappointment) of competition, there’s a lot to learn along the way!
Join us for an informal, friendly discussion where experienced artists (Ashley Calhoun and Bonny Butler) can share what they’ve learned, answer questions, and encourage others in our creative community. Whether you’re thinking about entering your first juried show or simply want to learn more about the process, you’re welcome! You don’t have to enter a competition to join the conversation.
📅 This Sunday, October 25 from 6-8PM
📍 Buenaventura Art Association Art Center & Gallery
1559 Spinnaker Drive, Suite 101B, Ventura Harbor Village
Come connect, ask questions, learn from one another, and discover how much easier that first step can feel when we support each other. We hope to see you there!
