Today is Giving Tuesday, a day to celebrate and support the causes that matter to you. At Healthcare for Justice, we are committed to making healthcare accessible on the path to freedom. We believe that everyone deserves to live a healthy and dignified life.

But we can’t do it alone. We need your help to provide comprehensive direct primary care to victims and survivors of human trafficking and domestic violence. These are some of the most vulnerable and marginalized people in our society, who have suffered unimaginable traumas and face many barriers to accessing healthcare.

Your donation today will help us provide free of charge trauma-informed medical and psychiatric care to our patients and their immediate family members. You will also help us coordinate personalized case management and referrals to other services and resources. Every dollar counts and makes an impact. For example, with just $25, you can provide a month of medication for a patient with chronic conditions.

Today, we remember those who sacrificed so we could live in freedom. This Memorial Day, we're thankful for those who gave their lives while serving. And we're thinking of those who have lost someone they love. From our family at we thank you for your sacrifice.

It's National Crime Victims' Rights Week.

hosted their annual event in east county for the first time at Simi Valley City Hall. This event was held last Thursday April 27 from 3-5pm. The event included speakers, a march, and free food.

One of the honorees is our very own Healthcare for Justice Medical Director Dr. Anthony Walls. Dr. Walls was honored with the Justice for Victims Award, for his years of dedicated service and tireless advocacy on behalf of communities that have been affected by crime.

Congratulations and thank you for all you do to help crime victims in Ventura County!
