Prayer at the Park
We love teaming up with the Boiler Room every second Saturday to bring the Just Bus mobile prayer room to the park! We take our community rhythms of eating, talking, and praying together outside - and that also allows us to invite in any curious passerby. It was a lovely evening tonight - Feel free to join us in future!

We had an awesome opportunity tonight to ask questions and listen as visitors from overseas shared at The Prayer Studio of 24-7 Prayer OK about their work of bridging denominational divides in Europe as Charismatic Catholics. I am grateful to have been able to be a part, and I look forward to more chances to listen and learn.

We are looking to connect with Christian faith leaders for listening sessions around topics of unity. Does one come to mind to connect us with?

Tonight was the blessing and launch of The Flow Room, and I am so fully grateful. It was a beautiful time of prayer and community. From contemplative prayer, prayer with paint, ribbon, and playdough, and prayer all packed in together consecrating the space to the Lord, it was beautiful.

The biggest message I had to share was this: This Space is for YOU. If you desire space away, reach out, and take it. Both in the dates on the calendar and in dates we can arrange for you or your small group- this space is curated for you to have space with God.

We hope to see you at some of the future events!!

A behind the scenes, little known facet of One River is we love to set up pop-up prayer spaces. If there is a retreat, event, or justice-oriented outreach or occassion where pop-up interactive prayer would be a blessing - let us know. We are passionate about curating content uniquely for the occasion or community needs.

Sometimes prayer prompts can reach the deep places that wouldn't otherwise be touched. Or inspire dreams that otherwise wouldn't be inspired. Or heal divisions that would've stayed divided.

So, if you are curious about getting outside the box in prayer - we are here.

Once a crib sheet, now a blank canvas! We are getting ready to bring prayer stations to a church retreat and one is about creating a collaborative art piece, led by prayer. We often laugh about existential moments, covered in primer or out cutting up fallen branches for prayer trees - what a life we are called to!! But I *love* it. I can't wait to see how God meets people through prayer this time!

We are SO excited to be blessing and launching The Flow Room in Tulsa! This is a central hub space for One River - a place for personal prayer, for small groups to meet, for creativity to flow, for late night worship, for multi-organizational collaboration, and more. It is meant as a gift to be utilized by the Church of Tulsa (all of them!).

Join us for a night of fellowship and prayer. The space will be outfitted with prayer stations. Outside there will be prayer walks, a fire pit, and space for kids to play. After a time of blessing the space, a chili potluck will follow. You - and your community - are welcome!

Pausing midday can be a beautiful part of a personal prayer rule. It gives an opportunity in the middle of all the bustle to re-center our mind and heart on the Author and Finisher of our faith.

If you are looking for a midday prayer, I am currently loving this one from the Ancient Faith Prayer Book and thought I'd share.

By His Cross, Jesus Christ ripped up the record of our sins and triumphed over the principalities and powers of darkness! 🙌🫶

I just want to highlight The Prayer Studio at 631 N Denver Ave - It repons Sept 1: downstairs!! It is cool, beautiful, and accessible. Props to all those who have put time, effort, love, and prayer into this. We are grateful for the part we play!
