Sunshine Community Services of Tulsa is excited to announce a new partnership with D'Spot Hope Surplus, allowing us to reopen our community food pantry and continue providing essential support to individuals and families facing food insecurity.
The pantry will now be hosted at D'Spot Hope Surplus, located at 725 North Lewis Avenue in Tulsa.
For those unfamiliar with D'Spot, they are doing incredible work in our community by helping families access affordable household necessities including furniture, bedding, kitchen supplies, home goods, and much more. Every item is carefully inspected and tested to ensure it is safe and functional.
This partnership is a natural fit. Both Sunshine and D'Spot share the belief that meeting basic needs creates opportunities for healthier, more stable lives. By combining resources and working together, we can help individuals and families access food, household essentials, healthcare services, and community support all in one location. We believe this collaboration will make it easier for people to get the help they need while strengthening the network of organizations serving Tulsa's most vulnerable residents.
We are especially grateful to D'Spot for providing a new home for the pantry project. Having a dedicated location allows us to continue expanding access to food assistance and reach more people throughout the community. We are incredibly excited to see what we can accomplish together.
Pantry hours are still being finalized but will be available during daytime hours throughout most of the week. Additional details will be announced soon.
We are currently seeking donations of large, locking storage cabinets, preferably metal or other durable materials, to help us safely store and display pantry items. Donations can be purchased through our Amazon Wishlist or delivered directly to either location:
