Rest assured that Riff will grow into his ears. While he is currently in his “gangly” teenage phase of kitten development, he has all the promise of growing into the sleek house panther that he is.
Already in place are his smooth black coat and lightening fast responses to wand toys and plastic springs as they skitter across the floor. But one thing that won’t ever be like a panther is his level of affection for humans. Riff is so excited to be near his people that he makes his biscuits on the couch while standing next to you - purring like a chain saw the entire time because he is so thrilled to have your undivided attention.
Though he loves people, Riff would do best in a home with another friendly and playful cat buddy. He has a lot of energy that is best burned with another feline companion. Older children in the home who know how to handle kitties properly are ok, but he would prefer there to be no dogs.
