Volunteers needed for the Kansas Half Marathon! Join Heartland Community Health Center in this fundraising event on Nov. 1 to support access to high quality, affordable health care for all. You can volunteer along the course, at the aid stations, and in the finish area.

The Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas (CHC/SEK) received federal funding from HRSA to launch its Access to Better Care for Children/Dental (ABCD) program.

Over the next two years, the program will expand access to high-quality, sensory-friendly dental care through specialized staff training, tele dentistry, caregiver education, and care coordination-helping children with Neurodevelopmental Disorders receive the care they deserve.

Reminder: Funding Opportunity: Masonic Cancer Alliance (MCA) Community Grant Program: Request for Collaboration on Obesity Prevention and Management Projects.

MCA plans to award up to two grants of $15,000 each for 24-month projects in Kansas and/or western Missouri. Funding may support new or expanded projects that use evidence-based approaches to prevent or manage obesity, promote physical activity or healthy weight, and help reduce cancer risk.
