We are rolling out a series of videos that capture our young people in action. This is the first of three (maybe four or five) students we will highlight and hopefully it will give a glimpse into the work they do.

This youngster did GREAT last year; even while only coming in a couple days a week, for a few hours 🙂

This year we are expanding this opportunity across Kansas and into KCMO to financially empower worthy motivated young people there as well. We know young people with that 'hustle' and 'go-getter' attitude are out there; and we want to bring opportunity to their neighborhood and the local small business community 💻 💰

Thank you , GO Topeka, all the young people involved and their parents and adults that have allowed us to provide a unique opportunity to upskill our local community and for the resources to spark tech careers in our youth & community 🥰

If your organization is truly interested in providing empowering programs & services to this population of youth..., or if your business wants to participate and play a direct role in youth employment development; contact the person on this business card (📞 or 💻)

You could have a motivated young person working or training in your business or organization; with their wages & workman's comp being paid by the agency ✔️

Your organization might even have a training program or support service they will pay for... if it aligns with current WIOA Program Elements ✔️

While actively participating in an approved program, service or training activity; assistance is available for things like transportation, books, supplies, uniforms, glasses, stipends, etc ✔️

Building your business alone might be COSTING YOU more than you think…

Not being in the right room can slow your growth in ways you don’t even realize.

Without the Heartland Black Chamber of Commerce, you could be:

👀 Spending time networking in spaces that don’t move your business forward.

👀 Missing out on key insights, education and programs like Strivesphere.

👀 Struggling with visibility instead of getting in front of the right audience.

👀 Overlooking opportunities and connections that matter.

👀 Losing time and money trying to figure it all out on your own.

At HBCC, we’re here to change that and getting started is simple:

Step 1: Complete your evaluation form and tell us about your business.

Step 2: Connect with our team and explore your opportunities.

Step 3: Meet 1:1 with a Membership Coordinator to get plugged into the right resources and programs.
