We are a private, 501(c)(3) nonprofit, nonsectarian educational facility that provides quality programs for blind or low vision children and preschoolers with developmental delays.

Congratulations to our Executive Director, Brian Darcy, on being the recipient of the 2026 Bill English Lifetime Achievement Award. Darcy is recognized for a career of building schools, programs, and partnerships for students with vision and hearing loss. Award is presented by COSB (Council of Schools and Services for the Blind) where he has served for more than a decade.

We are all so happy for you and this is very well-deserved! 🎉

Our NYISE Stars traveled to Maryland School for the Blind for a soccer tournament this week! What a perfect day for games and as usual, thank you MSB for being the best hosts!
