The aim of the Discernible Business Project is to create, host, and maintain excellent, professional websites for deserving businesses (or business

aspirations). This is no one-size-fits-all process. This is a site that is:
Customized: Your logo, colors, information, and images—in short, a site that really reflects your business and your needs. We want to work with you to make sure you’re happy with how it represents your business. Package: Our standard site layout is for a five-page site, including a home page, “About Us” page, and contact page. However, you won't be limited to a five page website. You may request additional pages and features as your business grows, or as they’re needed to better represent you and your product. Your Domain: We will either acquire for you (or guide you through the acquisition of) a domain name, using HostGator, our preferred provider. Imagine being able to tell people to go to YourBusiness.com to learn more about your services! Optimized: Being online is only part of the battle. You also need your customers to be able to find you there. We’ll use the best keywords to optimize your pages, submit your site to all the major search engines (such as Google, Bing, and Yahoo), and get your business added to Google Maps (if it has a physical location, of course). No, it’s not too good to be true. Our mission is to help your business succeed, and a good website is critical to achieving success. To qualify for our web development project, you must be a member of the Discernible Business Network. Membership is free, however, it's restricted to legitimate businesses or individuals who are serious about starting a legitimate business. Once you’ve realized how much a well-designed, professional site can help your business, you’ll be looking for even more features to add to your site. We’ve anticipated this and want to help your site and your business grow. So we’re also planning to make additional features available as well, including blogs, discussion forums, content management, eCommerce online stores (using PrestaShop), social media integration, and more. And it’s all still at no cost, just based on your participation as a member of the Discernible Business Network. We’re working on a more detailed list of criteria for approval of these features, which we will make available as soon as possible.
