In the middle of the summer season, we’re so grateful for everyone who continues to show up and serve our neighbors with the love of God.

Did you know?

For more than 150 years, 543–545 East 11th Street has been a place of hope in New York City.

Built in 1868 as the Eleventh Street Methodist Episcopal Chapel, these walls have welcomed generations of New Yorkers with compassion, practical help, and the hope of Christ.

Today, that legacy continues through The Father’s Heart Ministries. Every Saturday, our doors are open to serve our neighbors with food, clothing, prayer, and love.

The neighborhood has changed.
The mission hasn’t.

Thank you to every volunteer, donor, and friend who continues this story with us. ❤️

We did it! ❤️ We reached our $30,000 goal!

Thank you to everyone who gave, walked, prayed, and shared. Because of you, we’ll continue serving New Yorkers with meals, hope, and the love of Jesus.

🍦 Happy National Ice Cream Day! 🍦

Today we're extra sweet on our community — and we were thrilled to have NYC Councilmember Harvey Epstein visit Alphabet Scoop to celebrate!

Alphabet Scoop isn't just an ice cream shop — it's a teen employment and mentoring program giving local young people real job skills, paychecks, and confidence, one scoop at a time.
Councilmember Epstein stopped by to support our teen team.

About Alphabet Scoop:
We are a job training program whose mission, like our ice cream, is sweet and simple: invest in the futures of local youth through training and mentorship and invest in our city by funding other Father’s Heart Ministries programs with our profits.

Each scoop gives our trainees an opportunity to develop their gifts in an encouraging community that believes all people (like all flavors) are created equal.

Everyone needs people who have faith in them. Everyone also needs ice cream. And here at Alphabet Scoop, your frozen treat is one more step toward justice and sprinkles for all.
