Just a good Monday night with our KidZone families. ❤️ So thankful for these nights together as we head into the fall season.

Over the last few weeks, several of our guests have told us how thankful they are for our volunteers. They notice when you come out in bad weather or get up early after a long workweek to spend your Saturday serving them.

Thank you for showing up and loving our East Village neighbors. It means more than you know. ❤️

This weekend’s nor’easter made it difficult to get around, but our Saturday soup kitchen stayed open because our volunteers showed up. Our guests were so thankful, and so are we.

Thank you to City Hope, HFNY, St. Vartan Cathedral, Trinity Baptist Church, and every individual who came out to serve our community.

Yesterday, Corporal Works of Mercy, Joy Manhattan Church, Vision Church, and individual volunteers served with us at The Father’s Heart food pantry and soup kitchen. Thank you for helping us care for our neighbors! ❤️

KidZone is back! 🎉

We had an awesome turnout for our first KidZone of the new school year! We’ve officially moved from Tuesday nights to Monday nights, and we’re so excited to build momentum and make this a great year with our students!

We’re so thankful for Bright Lights, Exilic Church, HFNY, and every individual who came out Saturday morning to serve our community. Your time, love, and willingness to show up made a real difference. We couldn’t do this without our incredible volunteers!

Twenty five years later, we still remember.

Father’s Heart was here below 14th Street when everything changed. In the days that followed, our doors became a place where people could come for help, comfort, prayer, and community.

Today, we remember the lives that were lost, the families who still carry that loss, the first responders, and everyone whose life was forever changed.

We remember what our city went through. We remember how our community came together. And we continue to pray for the families and for the city we love.

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1

We will never forget.

As we approach the 25th anniversary of September 11th, we remember how quickly an ordinary morning changed our city forever.

We remember the lives lost, the bravery shown and the way New Yorkers came together to help one another.

This week, we pause, reflect and pray for our city.

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” Matthew 5:4
