The 2025 Annual Homeless Assessment Report found an 8% drop in homelessness — one of the highest decreases in the nation.

Nevertheless, we remain in crisis. New York still has the highest rate of homelessness in the U.S. and the progress we have made is being threatened by federal funding cuts.

A huge thank you to Turner Construction Company for recently volunteering at Louise’s Pantry on the Lower East Side and helping support our community during a distribution day.

Nazareth Housing’s 2026 Annual Benefit raised more than $675,000 to support our critical homelessness prevention and housing stability programs. We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us, supported the event, and helped make this incredible evening possible.

Our Housing Stability Support Program (HSSP) helps our clients stay safely housed in the communities they call home. 🏠

Through eviction prevention, case management, benefits enrollment, housing counseling, food access, supportive housing, and educational and financial programming, we provide the support families need to build stability and move forward.
