We Did It—AGAIN! Making prom dreams come true the day of prom ❤️
When the students’ aunt reached out to our Queens, NY chapter, she knew that it was a long shot to get a prom dress the day of her niece’s senior prom. But, no task is too difficult for this prom team 👗 Candace from our Queens Chapter connected with Nanda from our Bronx (Riverdale) Chapter and was able to find a few options for the student to try, just hours before prom! Once she said “yes” to the dress, the whole neighborhood was cheering!
This is who we are at Operation Prom—from the Bronx to Louisiana, Philadelphia to San Diego, each of our locations are dedicated to making prom dreams come true! In fact, they welcome the challenge!

We Did It—AGAIN! Making prom dreams come true the day of prom ❤️

We’re excited to share we received a $300 Spark Good local grant from our local Mohegan Lake Walmart. This grant will help with our Beyond Prom Program, which provides career clothing to students post high school. We are proud to spark good in our community! Walmart

We are so proud of our New Jersey Director of Operation Prom, Neisha Louhar. Congratulations on your Doctorate in Counseling, Dr. Louhar 🎉
In addition to making prom accessible to teens in New Jersey for the past 15 years, Dr. Louhar has provided mental health services and support in her role with the U.S. Military.

Our friends at the Bronx Borough President’s office are hosting a prom formal wear giveaway tomorrow and need more suits, tuxedos, and ties. If you can drop off tomorrow they would greatly appreciate it—and so would we! We’re working together to ensure every teen can go to prom in style, feeling confident & empowered, and not stressed about the expense.
