A beautiful win for the Bronx today! 🎉

Today, we celebrated new grant opportunities for many Bronx BIDs made possible through the support and funding of SBS.

A heartfelt thank you to Commissioner Kenny Minaya, the entire SBS team, and everyone at SBS for your continued commitment to the Bronx and our small businesses.

Special thanks to Executive Director Trey Jenkins of the 161st Street BID for hosting today’s press event, and to our Bronx Borough President, Vanessa Gibson, for always championing our borough.

To all of the dedicated, passionate, and hardworking Executive Directors across our Bronx BIDs thank you for the countless hours, leadership, and heart you pour into your districts and our borough every single day.

This year’s theme, “A Canvas of Community Growth and Opportunity,” reflects our shared commitment to painting the future of our district and shaping what we want Castle Hill to look like today and for generations to come.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 3rd Annual Meeting. Together, we reflected on many accomplishments, discussed our vision for the future, and honored several outstanding individuals whose contributions help make the Castle Hill BID such a special and vibrant community.

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated Board of Directors, our incredible Executive Director, and all of our stakeholders—including our small businesses, property owners, and residents. Your continued support, partnership, and commitment are the foundation of our success.

Spotlight Partnership Shoutout

A huge thank you to Assistant Chief Frank Lettera and the DSNY team for their quick response and ongoing commitment to keeping our corridor clean and graffiti-free. Your dedication, professionalism, and partnership mean so much to us and to the community we serve.

Together, alongside our supplemental sanitation team, we are making a real difference—creating a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming neighborhood for everyone.

Bronx BIDs recently met with Small Business Services Commissioner Kenny Minaya and his team, “Mom and Pop” Czar Delia Awusi, Economic Justice Advisor Kelly Gu, and our local agency partners — Frank Lettera from DSNY, Holly Malone from DOT, DSS Assistant Commissioner Yuri Sanchez, and Arianna Cabrera from DOB — to discuss the challenges facing our commercial corridors and explore meaningful solutions together.

Our Business Improvement District executive directors remain deeply committed to creating thriving, safer, and cleaner districts, and we know that strong collaboration with our city partners is essential to making that vision a reality. Together, we can drive real change.

We look forward to continuing these collaborations, having candid conversations, brainstorming solutions, and creating tangible, lasting impact for the communities we serve.

Thank you NYC police Commisoner Jessica Tisch & the NYPD for hosting this event. To have the opportunity to meet the new Bronx South Patrol Chief, Chief Brian C. Hennessy.

Castle Hill and the South Bronx now fall under Bronx South as the Bronx officially splits into two patrol boroughs to bring more resources, and stronger community policing to our neighborhoods.

Looking forward to positive change and stronger community relationships. 💙

What a beautiful time at the 45th Precinct Annual Community Council Breakfast, led by our very own Bob Bider, owner and merchant of Westchester SQ Plumbing Supply.

We gathered with our local officials, partners, and our amazing 45th Precinct to honor the officers who go out of their way every day to protect and serve. We also recognized civilians who contribute so much to our community.

We are grateful to be a part of these events where we can come together, show appreciation, and honor those who serve and support our neighborhoods.

Today’s Annual Bankers Breakfast was a reminder of what happens when we come together to strength, invest and provide capital and financial opportunity to our communities.
