Proceeds will benefit Catholic Charities in Terre Haute. The inaugural Wabash Valley Rubber Duck Regatta was held July 4, 2018. More than 11,000 adopted yellow rubber ducks were released into the Wabash River near Fairbanks Park. Jane Hunt, the owner of the winning duck, received a $10,000 cash prize. Catholic Charities provides help and creates hope by assisting with life’s necessities. We serve any person in need regardless of their social, economic or religious background. Programs provided by Catholic Charities include Bethany House Emergency Shelter, Clothes Closet, Terre Haute Catholic Charities Foodbank, Christmas Store and Ryves Youth Center.
