And one more HUGE THANKS to Sonya Weaver for committing to do hair for all of our models at 9:30pm the night before the 6th Annual Recovery Is Beautiful Gala after our stylist canceled on us at the very last minute. She came to the rescue with zero hesitation and we were so blessed to have her. Our community is UNMATCHED. 💪🖤✨️💇‍♀️

We'd also like to thank our awesome photographer, Moonlight Photography, for not only capturing every moment of the 6th Annual Recovery Is Beautiful Gala, but also doing it on such short notice! 🥹❤️

Be sure to go give her a follow and check out her work. She took over a THOUSAND pics at the event!! Her shots will be ready within a week or two- so keep your eyes peeled!

You're amazing and we are so grateful for you, Callie. 🫶🏻

What an honor it was to present 2026s Public Offical of the Year award to THPD's Jacob Funkhouser. ✨️

Saturday evening, the Recovery Gala was held in Terre Haute, recognizing individuals who go above and beyond to support those battling addiction and working toward recovery.

Among those recognized was THPD’s own Officer Jacob Funkhouser, who was honored as Officer of the Year. This award reflects his commitment to helping people during some of the most difficult times in their lives and his willingness to connect them with resources and support when they need it most.

We are proud of Officer Funkhouser and grateful for the many local recovery advocates, treatment providers, counselors, peer support specialists, and community partners who work every day to help individuals and families affected by addiction.

Congratulations, Officer Funkhouser, on this well-deserved recognition, and thank you to everyone in our recovery community for the difference you make every day.
