Today, the Terre Haute Economic Development Corporation welcomed Wes Lujan with
GATX as a guest speaker during our board meeting.

Wes shared an update on GATX’s continued growth and expansion of its Terre Haute facility, which has been a part of our community since 1973.

Since 2022, more than $29 million has been invested in the Terre Haute facility, including upgrades to utilities and rail infrastructure, as well as improvements to employee amenities.

GATX’s long-standing presence and continued investment are a great example of the strength of our local manufacturing and industrial sector — and the opportunities that come with continued investment in Terre Haute.
