"A member of the Mission’s Search & Rescue Outreach team stopped to talk with me one night out on the streets. He listened to my story, prayed with me, and connected me to the New Life Recovery Program at the Tacoma Rescue Mission. That moment became a turning point for me."

🧼 We need your help keeping our neighbors cared for. ❤️

Tacoma Rescue Mission is currently in need of essential hygiene products for our neighbors experiencing homelessness and hardship.

We’re especially in need of:
🧼 Soap & body wash
🧴 Deodorant
🪒 Razors & shaving supplies
🩷 Feminine hygiene products
🧴 Hand sanitizer
🪥 Toothbrushes & toothpaste

These everyday essentials can make a meaningful difference in someone’s dignity, comfort, and well-being.

Want to help? Consider adding a few hygiene items to your next shopping trip and donating them to Tacoma Rescue Mission. Every donation helps us provide practical care to our neighbors when they need it most.

Together, we can make sure our neighbors have access to the essentials they need. ❤️

One of our recent newsletters featured a letter written by New Life Recovery Program graduate Reginald Zanders. A number of community members wrote back to Reggie, thanking him for sharing his story and sending words of encouragement on his journey.

We wanted to give him an opportunity to share what those letters meant to him. Thank you to everyone who wrote back. We are so proud to share this community with you!
