Hi Sweet Tacoma Q***r and Allies!

A long overdue update: Due to a series of unfortunate events, PFLAG Tacoma's Board has dwindled to three cute, tired little people, and we're Tapped Out. Cooked. Kaput. Finito. We have, as the kids say, Crashed Out.

We figure we have two options:

1. Fold and endow any assets to q***r youth-focused orgs in Tacoma.

2. Pass along the reigns. **DO YOU WANT TO TAKE THE REIGNS?!**

We've created a survey to solicit community input. It will be open for the next month. Please share with your networks as you see fit. Thank you for your patience! Hope y'all are holding up ok out there

This month's theme is "From the Past to the Future." It's a chance to connect, share stories, and build community in a welcoming and supportive space.

When: Sunday, Sept. 21 at 12:30 p.m.
Where: Pierce County Human Services, 3602 Pacific Ave, Suite 200, Tacoma.

April 8, 2025 @ 6pm PT PFLAG Connects: Black/African American Communities

PFLAG Connects: Communities (PCC) provide a safe, virtual, and moderated space where people with shared experiences can connect each month. PFLAG National’s current communities gather people to gain support, ask questions, and learn from others who have been through similar experiences. These meetings cater primarily to family members of LGBTQ+ people, and also welcome members of the LGBTQ+ community.

The meetings are facilitated by members of the community who are either LGBTQ+ themselves or have a loved one who is LGBTQ+. The meetings are free to the public and do not require PFLAG National or chapter affiliation.
