Just a reminder—we are doing things a little differently this year with the silent auction!

Instead of limiting it to the Better Futures Luncheon, we're encouraging anyone who wants to participate to join in the fun. This means that although all the auction items will be on display at the luncheon on October 6th, the auction itself will close on October 18th during our Tacoma Arts Month Open Studio.

Auction registration is free and all are welcome to join in!

Celebrating 25 years of Tacoma Arts Month in style!

Live Hip Hop meets hot glass on the final day of the Tacoma Studio Tour!

A.G Joints will be performing songs live from his upcoming project, Soul Searching, on the final day of the Tacoma Studio Tour, Sunday, October 18, from 3–4 PM. Explore the fusion of music and hot glass demonstrations in the Hilltop Artists hot shop classroom, located at Hilltop Heritage Middle School.

Aaron Green, also known as A.G Joints, is a proud Cape Verdean, New Bedford, MA native and Tacoma, WA artist. A soulful writer and eclectic beat maker, his approach revolves around experience and the vicious cycle largely unspoken for. His goal: to keep your head nodding and thoughts provoked through the pastime of human connection. Hip Hop for the soul, from the soul.

A.G's TAIP-funded project, Soul Searching, is a lyrically therapeutic journey through life's emotional contrasts: struggle and strength, uncertainty and purpose, grief and joy. Inspired by his Cape Verdean roots, his journey from New Bedford to Tacoma, and the personal loss of his family's last matriarch, A.G crafts a musical narrative that is deeply human and spiritually grounded. Soul Searching celebrates the transformative power of Hip Hop to connect, reflect, and heal.
