CALLING ALL SMALL ANIMAL & REPTILE RESCUES!!

WHO NEEDS TANKS?! 👀

We are doing a BIG cleanout at the rescue and I am clearing out ALL of our top-opening glass tanks!

Rather than have these tanks sitting around taking up space, I would LOVE to see them go to other rescues that could put them to good use!
TANKS ARE COMPLETELY FREE TO OTHER RESCUES!

We have sizes ranging from 10 gallons all the way up to 55 gallons!

AND THAT’S NOT ALL!

I also have a LARGE quantity of BRAND NEW hang-on-back aquarium filters in a couple of different sizes! Asking $10 each for the filters. Fish nets and air stones are free!

Pickup is in Tacoma, WA.
You must be able to pick up!

If you’re a rescue that could use some extra tanks or aquarium supplies, please reach out!

And if you know of a rescue that could benefit from these, PLEASE TAG THEM OR SHARE THIS POST! ❤️

We know how expensive running a rescue can be, and if we can help another organization save some money while helping animals, that’s exactly what we want to do!

P.S. Our resident diamondback terrapin is featured in the picture because
someone needed to supervise this announcement.

TACOMA FRIENDS! ARE YOU MISSING A BEARDED DRAGON?!

A stray bearded dragon was recently turned in to The Spider Shoppe and has since been transferred into our care.

📍 Found near Monroe Street in Tacoma, WA!

If you’re missing your scaly baby, PLEASE reach out to us!

And if you have a free-roaming bearded dragon in your home, maybe go double-check that your little escape artist is actually where they’re supposed to be.

This dragon looks INSANELY familiar. Not just to me, but to pretty much everyone who regularly works in our building.

So, PREVIOUS ADOPTERS, we’re especially asking you to take a look!

This little one is clearly well cared for, incredibly sweet, and seems very comfortable with people.

We genuinely believe someone out there is missing their baby, and we would love nothing more than to get this sweetheart back home where they belong.

Please share this post, especially with your Tacoma friends! Let’s see if we can reunite this little escape artist with their family!

If you believe this dragon belongs to you, please message us with photos or other identifying information so we can verify ownership.

It's Amazon Prime Days!!

This is a great time to help stock the rescue with some of the boring but necessary stuff we fly through every single day.

With hundreds of animals in our care, I'm sure you. An imagine how many cleaning supplies we go through.

Right now, our BIGGEST NEEDS are:

Paper towels
Unscented baby wipes
Garbage bags
Heat bulbs
Disposable gloves

These might not be the most exciting things on our wishlist, but they are some of the things we use daily to keep enclosures clean, animals cared for, and the rescue running.

And with Amazon Prime Days happening right now, some of these supplies are on sale, which means your donation can go even further!

Amazon wishlist link-

If you’ve been looking for a way to help the rescue, even one box of gloves, one pack of wipes, or one case of paper towels makes a difference.

Can’t purchase anything right now? Sharing this post helps too!

Thank you for continuing to help us take care of all these little weirdos.

Introducing Ebenezer!

Ebenezer has been with us for just about two years now. And we think it's well past time this handsome boy gets a special post of his own.

When people picture having a bearded dragon they often imagine a little scaly sidekick. Hanging out on the couch, going for rides, sitting on your shoulder, getting all the snuggles.

Ebenezer would like to respectfully decline all of that.

This boy does NOT want to be touched.

He is perfectly happy spending his days watching the world around him, eating his salads and bugs, basking, and being told from a tractor distance just how incredibly handsome he is.

Ebenezer doesn't need someone to change him. He just needs someone who understands him.

He is looking for a home where he can simply exist and be appreciated for who he is. He is NOT a good fit for anyone with children, and he does not like having other dragons within his line of sight.

But for the right person, he is such a cool little dude.

Some animals want to be your cuddle buddy. Some want to sit on your shoulder. And some want you to bring them snacks, admire their beauty, and kindly keep your hands to yourself.

Ebenezer is option 3

After nearly two years with us, we would absolutely love to finally see this boy find the person who looks at him and says "yep, that's exactly the Beardie for me."

Please help the algorithm spread this post. Leave a reaction, leave a comment (what's your favorite fall activity!?)
and SHARE Ebenezer! His perfect home might be hiding on your friends list!

Facebook isn't letting us tag people in this post for some reason. But we want to give a huge thank you to everyone that has sent Amazon donations recently. These help us a ton! Just last week we received multiple boxes of wipes and paper towels. We go through a TON of these and this donation was so incredibly helpful. To the freeman family- thank you so so much for the supplies!

We couldn't do this without the community here to support us.
Thank you all
