Last Tuesday, Sheri Tonn—a campaign committee member and longtime TCH supporter—organized a special visit for those who have supported our work for many years.

We extend our sincere thanks to Sheri and Jeff Tonn, Jenni Browning (former member of the new building campaign committee), the Mayer family, Steph Farber, Jayasri Ghosh, Priya Manion, and the family of Dennis Flannigan for their steadfast support and for joining us today. Their partnership means so much to us, and we are deeply grateful for everything they do for TCH!

Today, 8/7, our team is taking time to celebrate together at our annual staff summer celebration! We are grateful for the dedication and hard work of our incredible staff, and we’re excited to spend the day connecting and recharging.

Tacoma Community House and The REACH Center are always grateful to welcome visitors, whose interest reflects the community's commitment to our mission of creating opportunities for individuals and families throughout the Puget Sound region through comprehensive services focused on self-sufficiency, inclusion, and advocacy.

Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting students from the University of Washington and several Tacoma high schools. We were delighted to share our work with them, learn about their interest in the challenges facing our community, and experience their enthusiasm and willingness to support our mission.
We are always happy to open our doors and inspire the next generation of community leaders.

As Micah concludes a meaningful year of service at Tacoma Community House, we celebrate the dedication, compassion, and connections that made this experience so special. Throughout the past 12 months, Micah embraced the opportunity to serve, build lasting relationships, and learn from the incredible diversity of our community.

From getting to know our students and clients to sharing meals at our end-of-quarter potlucks, these experiences have created memories that will last a lifetime.

Micah leaves us with this inspiring reminder: keep building community. There is always room to make new connections, and there are so many people ready to support, encourage, and help you grow.
