This month, we celebrate LGBTQIA2S+ students, families, educators, and community members and reaffirm our commitment to building welcoming school communities for all.

While Pride Month offers an opportunity to celebrate, our support for LGBTQIA2S+ students and families extends throughout the year. Through our advocacy work and WSPTA Resolution 2.19, we continue to support safe, inclusive, and affirming environments where every student can thrive. 🎉Congratulations, Liz!!

The WSPTA Outstanding Service Award was added in 1962, building on the success of the Golden Acorn Award program. This award recognizes statewide service to children. It is awarded to an individual who has given dedicated and long-term volunteer service that positively impacts every child throughout Washington state while demonstrating the WSPTA core values.
