This is an excellent time to join the band. If you want to start from scratch, join our beginning fundamentals band Oct 6 at 6:00. If you just want to freshen up your skills join the Intermediate band Oct 13 at 7:00. If you are ready for the Stonewall Brigade Band, join us Monday Oct 5 at 7:30. The Stonewall Brigade Band welcomes new members to the Preparatory Band program, offering both Beginning and Intermediate instrumental music to anyone who would like to learn a new instrument. Loaner instruments are available at no cost. The classes are intergenerational and provided free to the public. The introductory class will be held on Tuesday, October 6 at 6:00 pm in the Stonewall Brigade Band building, 600 Thornrose Ave in Staunton. Join us on that day to try out instruments and learn about our fun program!

Young musicians ages 10-18:
The Stonewall Brigade Band Young Artist Competition will be held on Sunday, September 20. Awards range from $1000 for first place in the 16-18 age category, $500 for first place in the 13-15 age category, and $200 for first place in the 10-12 age category. Other price amounts are shown.
Applications must be received by Friday, September 11. Please do not delay. Only the first 30 applicants can be registered. There is no fee to enter.
