We’re so grateful to our partners at the Waynesboro Family YMCA for allowing us to set up our mobile market in their parking lot! We just love spending time in our community, making fresh, nutritious food accessible to everyone!

Every market is different, but during an average market day, volunteers might:

Come out and see us tomorrow at the mobile market! We'll have affordable, gorgeous fresh produce and locally-raised meat and eggs available. Don't forget to bring the kids, too - our Kids' Bucks Program allows them to pick out their very own fruits and veggies!

Just a quick reminder that The Project GROWS Grow Mobile will be back at the Y tomorrow, May 26th from 4:45–5:45 PM! Swing by to pick up fresh, local, affordable produce — plus meat, eggs, cheese, and more. Kids receive $5 in FREE veggies, and the sliding scale makes healthy food accessible for everyone.

As we wrap up the spring launch of GROW With Us, we’re reflecting on some incredible highlights from the season.

This campaign has celebrated the many ways our community makes our mission possible. This spring alone:

🌱 Volunteers donated nearly 300 hours supporting the farm, field trips, and events
🎶 Our Benefit Concert raised $1,300 for food access programs
🚜 More than 130 community members joined us for our recent Open House!

We’re deeply grateful for the many ways you engage with and support our mission to grow a healthy community. Simply put, we could not do this work without you.

We can’t wait to stay connected this summer at our markets, workshops, and events throughout the community. Here’s to continuing to GROW With Us!

Our mission to connect our community to local, healthy food has created some pretty spectacular experiences: from field trips on the farm to summer camps to running local markets, we can't help ❤️loving every minute of what we do❤️!

This year we're starting a new workshop series at the farm for every age! These workshops are a great opportunity to hone your skills and meet people with similar interests while learning best practices and techniques from experts!

Today, we're highlighting the first of our workshops: 🍄Mushroom Foraging🍄!

Join state certified mycologists Victoria and Christopher Vacher of Enchanted Nature for an introduction to the hidden world of fungi. Learn the fundamentals of mycology and mushroom foraging, including identifying features of a few of the toxic and edible mushrooms that grow in our region. This workshop will provide a practical starting point for anyone curious about fungi and foraging.

Our mobile markets are in full swing, just finishing up their second full week for the season - and so far, it's been a blast! We just love seeing so many friendly faces and having the opportunity to bring fresh produce to our community!

💖One of the most meaningful parts of our work is creating opportunities for children and families to build positive, lasting relationships with healthy food and the people who grow it.

🥕Programs like Kids’ Bucks do more than help children bring home fresh fruits and vegetables. They encourage curiosity, confidence, and healthy habits while helping families connect more deeply with local farmers, local food, and our regional food economy.

🤝These moments of learning and connection are only possible because of community support.
