If you know Club Compass - Dubois Site, you know Gay Sybert!

For years, Gay has been bringing more than just dinner to our Dubois Elementary Club Compass site. She’s brought comfort, kindness, and some truly legendary meals that have become a favorite part of the week for our kids and volunteers. (The kids love Gay’s “Million Dollar Chicken”!)

Recently, we celebrated Gay and thanked her for the many meals, memories, and moments she has shared with our Compass family. While she is stepping back from cooking every week so she and her husband can enjoy more time traveling, we are so thankful that she’ll still be joining us once a month!

Gay, thank you for filling our tables and our hearts for so many years. We can’t wait for more dinners and memories together!

Our enrichment partners bring so much to Club Compass. They share their time, talents, hobbies, careers and interests, giving our kids the chance to try something new and meet some pretty great people along the way.

This year marks ten years since Compass for Kids officially became a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. What began as a mission to support kids has grown into a community of students, families, volunteers, donors, and partners all working together to help children reach their full potential.

Although Compass for Kids has operated as an independent not-for-profit for the past ten years, our roots go back to 2011. Over the last fifteen years, we have been able to provide mentoring, learning, laughter, and life-changing connections for thousands of children.
