Levitt AMP Springfield Music Series presented by PNC Bank The Springfield Area Arts Council hosts free concerts through the summer thanks to the Levitt Family Foundation, PNC & many local partners!

Presenting high-caliber talent and a broad array of music genres and cultural programming, Levitt concerts are welcoming and inclusive destinations where people of all ages and backgrounds come together. In 2024, the national Levitt network of music venues and concert sites is presenting 650+ free concerts in 45 towns and cities, with audiences over 750,000. In addition to supporting free concerts, the Levitt Foundation is dedicated to advancing equitable music ecosystems through research and partnerships. www.levitt.org

This free music series is made possible, locally, by a partnership between Downtown Springfield Inc, Springfield Area Arts Council, Downtown Springfield Heritage Foundation, Springfield Jaycees, the City of Springfield, and our volunteer committee members. It is funded by a matching grant from the Levitt Foundation and many generous sponsors including PNC Bank, Community Foundation for the Land of Lincoln, US Bank and Illinois REALTORS.

Our Juneteenth concert was our LARGEST concert in all of our 7 years!

Thank you to The Psycodelics and Paul Bill Jr. for lighting up the stage.

It's been a long and winding road to just get to this announcement, but here we are.

Tomorrow night, we welcome to the Levitt AMP Springfield stage a supergroup in reggae - Gizzae!

Many moons ago, their Levitt concert was rained out and shifted to indoors, so we're happy to have them back for a redo so that this original opportunity gets to rise to its fullest potential.

We kick off the music with The Smokestacks !

We've had an issue with this Thursday's concert headliner. In some strange confusion, Ruben Moreno & The Zydeco Re-Evolution is double-booked and unable to perform in Springfield. 😱

But instead of canceling, we did a last minute pivot and booked a new act. 🫡

Unfortunately, they had to cancel, too. Please keep Dwayne Dopsie and the Zydeco Hellraisers in your hearts as they mourn the loss of a loved one.

Every Friday morning we walk the Y Block to pick up what's missed and that's all the trash left behind after a concert night. One small bag.

That's because our guests care about a clean, safe site. So do our vendors, volunteers, sponsors, and staff. 💕

Two Men and a Truck Springfield IL comes every week to help set up and tear down.

City of Springfield-Municipal Government supports the series with 40 cans, next day service, mows our grass, and so much more.

Sky Elements Drones has a special show immediately after our Levitt concert at 9PM - entirely FREE and visible from the Y Block!

This drone show kicks off the 2026 Hemmings Great Race which starts in Downtown Springfield on June 20, 2026. Over 100 antique and collector cars will embark on a 2,300-mile cross-country endurance rally along historic Route 66 to Pasadena, California.
