The School Food Drive is underway, and we’ve already received 📦 some boxes filled with food! If you haven't grabbed yours, get one this Sunday at church! We are collecting through October 25th.

✅ Grab a box & shopping list provided by Hope
✅ Shop the list & fill your box
✅ Secure the bottom of the box with packing tape
✅ Pack the box so it fully closes & leave untaped on top
✅ Bring back to Hope by Sunday, October 25th

👋 Meet Ed | Interim Director of Operations

“I retired after 45+ years of full-time ministry and moved back ‘home’ to the Springfield area with my wife, Sheri, in 2025. I joined the Hope team in August 2026 as Interim Director of Operations. I love my wife and family, my truck, working in the yard, riding my bike, pork tenderloin sandwiches, sweet tea and chocolate. And I love Jesus—He has been so good to me!”

👋 Meet Isaac | Video Production Technician

“I have a huge passion for film and videography, and I joined the Hope team in September 2026 after directing my first short film. Faith is the biggest thing in my life. I want to see people meet God, grow in their faith, and learn to live more like Christ. When I’m not working, I enjoy going to the gym, drinking coffee, walking my dog, and watching movies.”

We’re grateful to have Ed and Isaac on the Hope team! 💙🧡 If you see them around campus, help us welcome them.

Whether you are at your highest point or your lowest, in the light or in the dark, God is there. Not as a distant observer, but as someone who knows you deeply and stays.

This week we explored what it looks like to actually live in that reality. Not waiting for God to chase you down, but simply becoming aware that he is already with you.
