There's a lot happening right now! And that means lots of ways to engage on climate advocacy here in Spokane! 350 Spokane is restarting our in-person monthly volunteer meetings this September, beginning September 8 at 6:30pm in the Community Building lobby.

These are meant to be informal meetings where you can hear more about what's happening and ways you can plug-in. All are welcome! We hope you'll join us!

Join us and our partners, The Land's Council and Spokane Riverkeeper, on Tuesday, Aug. 11th @ 2 PM for the County Commissioner Meeting.
Commissioner's Hearing Room, Lower Level Public Works Building, 1026 W. Broadway, Spokane, WA 99260

We are gathering outside at 1:30 PM to prepare.
Right now, as our community is dealing with one of the worst disasters in Spokane's history, the responsible thing to do is enact a moratorium on data centers and any mega-load energy users. We need time to research how this kind of development will impact our community, and our first priority needs to be helping Spokane recover from the fires. This should not be fast-tracked without proper research and public input, let alone in the midst of a disaster.

Our hearts go out to the members of our community who have been affected by the ongoing wildfires in the Spokane Region.

In moments like these we must come together as a community and support one another.

Shout out to the first responders and firefighters who are working their asses off and putting themselves in danger to protect this community.

But words are never enough, and there are so many ways to help. We would like to share this information from the Spokesman about some options for you to support your neighbors in these dark times.

As fires devastate Spokane, people across the country are looking for ways to help.

local elections should be in local hands!

just two big donors have spent over $212k on opposing STA Prop 1 (yep, that's up 60k from when this video was filmed yesterday). they're using AI-designed mailers, hiring canvassers to come up from Texas, and spreading blatantly false information about STA to try to make STA Prop 1 fail.

we are urging you to vote yes on STA Prop 1, and tell others to do the same! canvassing, textbanking, and phonebanking opportunities during this last week can be found at yesforbuses.org/ -involved
