Since the opening of the Hamilton-Wenham Public Library, we have become a vital and integral part of the crew that brings you your library resources.

The Friends of the Hamilton-Wenham Public Library (FOHWPL) was created to support the Hamilton-Wenham Public Library. We fund all museum passes that are offered to patrons of the Hamilton-Wenham Library. We sponsor special events and programs offered at the library for both adults and children, and provide for the purchase of special equipment, hardware and furniture. Through membership contributions, donations of books, and purchases of those books at our sales, we are able to provide the extra resources and improvements that make our library the special place that it is! Come join your friends and neighbors and feel a true sense of pride and accomplishment as we make a difference in our community. We welcome you and your ideas!

We wanted to provide an update on the ongoing issues with our telephone system. Unfortunately, resolving these issues is taking longer than originally anticipated. A permanent solution will require the installation of new equipment over the next few months. In the meantime, you may continue to experience dropped calls when contacting the Library. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work toward a resolution.

If your call is disconnected, please feel free to try again or contact us by email at [email protected]

Thank you for your continued understanding!
