Help us stock our shelves! Cereal is always a high demand item - it’s versatile and nutritious but can be expensive. Please consider donating a box or two for our clients.

Our wonderful volunteer, Vince, is here at Acord (69 Willow St. Hamilton) every Wednesday from 4pm-6pm collecting food donations, or you can donate in the bins at the or the Hamilton Public Safety building.

We are so grateful to have received a $75,000 grant from the Cummings Foundation!

This incredibly generous grant will support our mission with $25,000 a year for three years, ensuring consistent funding as our client demand continues to trend upward. While times may be volatile and unpredictable for a nonprofit, we are beyond appreciative to have the steady, strong support of the Cummings Foundation.

Big shoutout to Grace Rich, a student at Hamilton Wenham Regional High School who coordinated a food drive for her civic action project in her history class! She donated 124 lbs of food for our clients here at Acord. Way to go!

Acord has seen more clients than ever recently - mirroring what's happening on a national level. Prices are higher than wages for the first time in three years. Inflation is rising, making it impossible for individuals with fixed or lower incomes to make ends meet. We are here for you

Food insecurity affects more families now than during the coronavirus pandemic, according to a new survey from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

SNAP benefits (formerly known as food stamps) do not cover sunscreen. This expensive item is essential but often cost prohibitive and tight budgets can mean having to choose to purchase food instead.

Rally your friends, neighbors, church group, sports team, or employees to collect sunscreen for our 1,000+ clients as we head into warmer months. Or pick up a couple bottles next time you go shopping and drop to Acord any Wednesday from 4-6pm.

Summer is coming ☀️ and Acord is here for school-aged kids who rely on free lunch during the school year. Starting June 23, every Tuesday, we will distribute bags of kid-friendly, nourishing lunch supplies to any family who needs a hand.
