Over the weekend the Hamilton Fire Dept Relief Association hosted a Pickleball tournament fundraiser event at Patton Park. It was a huge success with two separate division, on Saturday there was a men’s doubles and on Sunday woman had their matches. Everybody had a great time and we want to see this continue next year.

All proceeds from this event benefits Hamilton Firefighters that get sick or injured.

Our plan is to make this an annual fundraising event, with the addition of a mixed doubles division.

Keep an eye open for next years flyer and sign up early.

Join us along with the Acord Food Pantry and the Hamilton Fire Department for a Food Drive event hosted at the Hamilton Public Safety Building! The food drive will be held on Saturday September 30th from 10am- 1pm. Please drop off your donations at the Hamilton Public Safety Building.

Unfortunately, we have made the decision to cancel the road race due to lack of runners.

We hope to be able to plan another date in the future.

Please be aware of some changes for Monday's Memorial Day Parade. The parade will have an earlier start this year at 8:30AM before proceeding to the cemetery. After a short ceremony, the parade will move down Bay Rd (Rt 1A) to Patton Park without stopping.

A second change will be the parade will march into the EXIT at the Patton Park Veteran's Pool parking lot. The parade will NOT be formally going to the Community House and onto Asbury St for those who tended to gather there previously. There will be the usual ceremony in Patton Park by the tank.

The parade should be arriving at the park sometime between 9:30-10AM. Please come out and pay respect to those who have sacrificed so much for us. Traffic on Bay Rd will have delays and detours during the movement from the cemetery to the park.
