"The Community of Service." Our (July 18th), Military Service Day at Patton Homestead sponsor, USA Brotherhood of Tankers are restoring at no fee, the Hamilton MA Patton Park's U.S. Army Third Army WWII Memorial-Sherman Tank. And they are busting out some great work under the hot and humid sun. Their team of "Tankers" and experts bring the symbolism and history back to life of those who never returned. The Memorial was dedicated in 1947 by Ms. Beatrice Aye Patton, Wife of WWII General S. Patton Jr. as a gift to the People of Hamilton. Happy Flag Day and happy 251st birthday to the U.S. Army 1775-2026

June is PTSD Awareness Month, and PTSD can affect veterans, servicemembers, and their families long after military service ends. The good news? No one has to face it alone.

That's why The American Legion's Be the One campaign encourages us all to check in, listen without judgment, and help connect those who may be struggling to the support they deserve.

Learn more about PTSD and access free resources from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs: ptsd.va.gov/understand/awareness/promo_materials.asp

You don't have to have all the answers. Sometimes, being the one who reaches out can make all the difference.
