Come earn your spots this Saturday from 10 am to noon at the Terry Redlin Art Center rain or shine! 🌧️ ☀️ This fun, family event is ideal for ages 3-8, but fun can be had by all ages! Children must be accompanied by an adult. We will read “Little Bug Earns Her Spots,” and then it’s your turn to earn some spots!!

Any book sales will benefit Make-A-Wish South Dakota & Montana!

Foxtyn’s wish shows the power of a little bit of magic. ✨️

Foxtyn is a joyful little boy who has faced a rare disease with incredible strength. Recently, his wish to visit Walt Disney World came true!

From the start, Foxtyn and his family were surrounded by kindness—feeling “weightless” as they enjoyed time together at Give Kids The World Village and beyond. They even joined a Disney parade after staff spotted their Make-A-Wish gear, and Foxtyn took part in the Lion King Festival —moments his family called unforgettable. 🦁👑

More than a trip, this wish gave Foxtyn’s family time away from illness to simply be together and create lasting memories.

This National Best Friends Day, we’re celebrating the connections that bring comfort, purpose, and a sense of home when it’s needed most. 💙

For wish kid Piper, that connection has always been found on the back of a horse. Growing up on her family’s ranch, she’s spent countless hours riding alongside her dad, building confidence, strength, and a love for the land.

But as her dad’s horse, Slick, has grown older, Piper dreamed of having a horse of her own; one she could rely on, grow with, and continue doing what she loves most. Yesterday, that wish came true!

Piper’s wish for her very own American Quarter Horse wasn’t just about riding; it was about independence, healing, and holding on to a piece of her everyday life. Practical and grounded, just like Piper herself, her wish reflects the quiet strength she brings to every challenge.

Wish mom Lindy spent years referring her patients to Make-A-Wish as a pediatric nurse, never imagining her son, Easton, would one day receive a wish. Their lives changed in an instant when Easton was diagnosed with cancer. After grueling rounds of chemotherapy and radiation, Easton completed his final treatment – a milestone he and his family will never forget. Soon after, his wish to go to Hawaii with his family came true, where the sun and surfing helped restore his confidence and joy. 🌊🌴
